ANSWER.
My best advice is start at the beginning. You should always start by doing what we call at the Schmick Institut ‘the dry preparation’. Spray all four wheels with Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner, then spray any insects or bugs with Sonax Insect Remover. Allow both products to work for a minimum of 5 minutes. Then proceed to wash your car by rinsing the entire surface with water, making special attention to your wheels.
Wash the entire vehicle using a solution of Sonax shampoo and water. Apply using a Sonax Dual Purpose Sponge. Start at the top surface and working your way down the sides. Frequently run your fingers over your sponge and squeeze it while submerged in the water, to release dirt or grime particles. Never drag your sponge from the bottom of the bucket. You could pick up dirt particles and drag them back over your vehicle's surface. Rinse off wash solution before it starts to dry.

Ah! A common question. You cannot.
Modern cars, especially, are more likely to be fitted with pads that allow smoother braking, but at the expense of creating dust.
First, clean your wheels with the Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner taking special attention by using a high pressure hose to remove the wheel cleaner and dissolve dirt thoroughly. Then apply the Sonax Nano Wheel Rim Coating as per instructions to each wheel and allow to dry.
Your wheels are now protected by a glass hard coating. This coating reduces the adhesion of brake dust, dirt and grime on your wheels, allowing them to be Schmick for longer and to be cleaned more easily.

We at the Schmick Institut spent many years developing the Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner and it is perfectly safe on all wheel types with the exception of high polished aluminum.
A wheel cleaner should be used as the first step when cleaning your vehicle. Before you wet your vehicle with water, spray your wheels with the Sonax Xtreme Wheel Cleaner first. The cleaner works more effectively when applied to a dry, cool surface.
Its unique formula is PH neutral, and also environmentally friendly, making it safe for your Audi R7 and other wild beasts. (I make the joke.)

Ach! Dishwashing liquid is designed to clean grease and oil from the leftover schnitzel off your crockery and is extremely harsh. If you use a dishwashing liquid to wash your car, you will strip your protective wax coating as well as end up having your BMW M3 smelling like a lemon.
The Sonax shampoos are phosphate free and are safe to use on all surfaces, including clear coated surfaces. They have the added benefit of resisting water spotting once the surface dries.
ANSWER.
Despite several hundred insects meeting a glorious death on the bodywork of your McLaren-Mercedes SLR, spray the contaminated area with Sonax Insect Remover prior to washing your car. Leave on the surface for a few minutes then remove by washing your vehicle with water and a Sonax Shampoo.
The Sonax Insect Remover is specifically formulated to remove insects and bugs, not the precious wax from your paintwork! It could be worse. You could have bats in the Belfry. Or ants in your pants. Insects we can deal with.

Are you a Dumbkoff? This is a madness!
Always, Always! As sure as God is in heaven, use one sponge for your wheels and another sponge for the rest of your vehicle.
Wheels are the windows to the soul, but they are most likely to become contaminated with grit, dirt and more importantly, the Devil’s spoor, brake dust!
Using the same sponge will allow contaminants to be dragged over your vehicle's surfaces, completely knackering the Schmickness of your paintwork. This is entirely unacceptable. Go and buy a bodywork sponge. Sleep with it under your pillow. Sing to it if necessary.
ANSWER.
Silicone is used in most polishes as it makes application and removal of the polish much easier when this is done by hand. (This is different from the woman chest enlargement materials.) The presence of silicone can cause problems in areas such as spray painting. For such applications and where professional buffing equipment is used Sonax offer a silicone free range of polishes.
ANSWER.
As the Schmick is important to me, I never miss a chance to polish my Porsche, but for others, there are other important things in life (like F.C. Koln, good blood-sausage and beer festivals.)
The answer depends on how often the car is driven, if you park your vehicle undercover out of the weather and how regularly you wash your vehicle. A good general rule is that you should polish and wax your vehicle every 8 to 10 weeks, for optimum Schmick.
ANSWER.
A polish abrasively removes, cleans and fills a paints surface to rejuvenate a dull or damaged appearance. A wax puts a protective coating over the vehicles surface to lock in and protect the newly polished and shined surface. A good quality wax also provides a barrier between your paint and external elements such as rain, UV rays, bird droppings and general road grime contaminants, protecting and enhancing your vehicle’s great finish! Cleanliness is next Godliness except in the dictionary where it is next to claymore. Go figure.

Nano is a measurement. It's 1,000,000mm in size. (Similar size to my share portfolio after the latest ‘correction.’) In terms of a polish or wax using Nanotechnology, the polish and wax particles are significantly smaller than what is used in conventional polishes. The miniscule nano particles effortlessly find their way into the paint’s structure without having to be broken down by laborious rubbing in. This results in an exceptional deep shine, longer lasting protection and easier application. Sonax developed nano technology polishes and waxes in association with Daimler Chrysler in response to problems they had with their newly developed ceramic, clear coat paint finishes which are now becoming widely used.

Carnauba is the hardest natural wax available on the market today. The Holy Grail of Wax. The bees knees except it doesn’t come from the bees but is harvested from the leaves of a particular category of Palm tree found native only to Brazil. Carnauba wax provides enhanced long term protection against the environment, whilst enhancing your paintworks shine!
A lot of waxes may claim to contain carnauba wax. This is the bull schm*ck. The important thing is to know how much. Always look for the highest level of Carnauba like Sonax Premium Class 100% Carnauba Wax.
